2. Read Romans 5: 18-21 with Romans 6:1. Why would anyone think that continuing to sin would make grace abound?

3. Read Romans 6:3-10. What does it mean to be baptized in Christ’s death? What does it mean to be buried with him?

4. Is the idea of being a slave to sin in Romans 6: 12-23 talking about sin determining our destiny or controlling our behavior?

5. What are your motivations for not sinning? How might you go about not allowing sin to reign in you? Can you think of any sin that God has turned you away from since you became a believer?

2. Read Romans 3:21-26. What is righteousness? How is it obtained?
3. What is grace? (Read Titus 2:11, Romans 6)
4. Read Romans 4:16. What is the relationship between grace and faith?

1. Many people speak of finding their calling. What does that mean?
2. Does answering God’s call mean that we will have to be full time worker or missionaries?
3. Read Jeremiah 1. What was Jeremiah’s response to God’s call.

What was God’s response to Jeremiah?

4. Have you ever felt in adequate or afraid to do something God was asking you to do? How does Romans 8:28-30 encourage you?

5. What do you think is God’s calling for you? Are you answering it? Or is something holding your back?

OBJECTIVE: To understand the growth of Christian character and holy living.

1. When did you come to know Christ? How did you come to accept Him as your personal Saviour?

2. What will happen to your thoughts as you grow in character? Read Eph 4:20- 24.

3. How has God equipped you to grow in character? Read 2 Peter 1:2-4.

4. What does 2 Peter 1:8 say about fruitfulness?

5. List the qualities mentioned in 2 Peter 1:5-7. Which one of these qualities can you begin to strengthen?

OBJECTIVE: To understand sin, its power and influence over Christian lives.

1.What do you think that caused Adam and Eve to sin? Can the same happen to us now?

2.How did God react when he found out that Adam and Eve sinned?

3.What are the consequences of sin during Adam’s time? What are the consequences of sin now?

4.Can we ever escape the consequence of sin?

OBJECTIVE: To understand that God created man in His image and that we are perfect in God’s sight. Although we have sinned, Jesus blood has made us perfect again in God’s eyes.

1. List the difference between the man and the other animals.

2. What does it mean to have man created in God’s image?

3. Why did God put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden?

4. What lesson can we learn from God in how to live our lives?

1. Can you name the order of creation? What would be the most difficult to create?
