1. What is the meaning of “Glory” and to be “glorified”?

2. Read Romans 8:18-25. What does is the hope that Paul is talking about?
(Col 1:27)

3. Compare Romans 8:18-23 with Romans 8:14-17. What is the correlation between these two passages? What is the significance of this?

4. What is Justification?
(Romans 5:12-21) (Romans 3:22)

What is Sanctification?
(Heb 10:14)  

How do Justification, Sanctification and Glorification relate to one another?
(refer 1 Cor 13:12, 1 Cor 15:52-53, 2 Cor 5:2-4)

Read Romans 6

1. What is sanctification?

2. Read Romans 5: 18-21 with Romans 6:1. Why would anyone think that continuing to sin would make grace abound?

3. Read Romans 6:3-10. What does it mean to be baptized in Christ’s death? What does it mean to be buried with him?

4. Is the idea of being a slave to sin in Romans 6: 12-23 talking about sin determining our destiny or controlling our behavior?

5. What are your motivations for not sinning? How might you go about not allowing sin to reign in you? Can you think of any sin that God has turned you away from since you became a believer?

2. Does answering God’s call mean that we will have to be full time worker or missionaries?
3. Read Jeremiah 1. What was Jeremiah’s response to God’s call.

What was God’s response to Jeremiah?

4. Have you ever felt in adequate or afraid to do something God was asking you to do? How does Romans 8:28-30 encourage you?

5. What do you think is God’s calling for you? Are you answering it? Or is something holding your back?

4. What does 2 Peter 1:8 say about fruitfulness?

5. List the qualities mentioned in 2 Peter 1:5-7. Which one of these qualities can you begin to strengthen?

1.Summarize the previous lesson in one sentence. Who is Satan and what will happen to him?

2.Read 2 Conrinthians 11:3. What is Satan’s desire? What do you think is his strategy to accomplish this? Find verses to back this up.

3.What are the three major areas of temptation Satan uses? Which of these areas is the hardest for you to deal with?

4.Knowing this how should we prepare ourselves to overcome Satan?

1. Describe what you think off when you think of Satan. Compare this to the world’s representation of Satan. What are the similarities and what are the differences if any.


2. What are some of the names given to our enemy?
a) Matthew 4:3

c) 2 Corinthians 4:4
d) 1 John 2:14
e) Revelations 12:9 –10


3. Read Isaiah 14:12-15. What does this passage tell us about Satan?


4. Read 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 and Luke 8:12. What do these two passages tell us about Satan?


5. Read Revelations 20:10. What will ultimately happen to Satan? What does this mean for us?


6. Revisit the 1st question only this time refer to what you have learned today about who Satan is. Has your views changed at all? Explain.
